Have your wedding at John J. Sullivans!!!!!! I got married there on 9/10/11 and everything was absolutly perfect. The service at John J Sullivans is absolutly amazing I have never witnessed anything like it. Everything I wanted was provided and if I didn't think of it the wedding planner, Phyllis, sure did!!! The garden is absolutly gorgeous if you choose to have an outdoor ceremony, if not the reception hall is just as breathtaking. Not one person that attended my wedding had a complaint about the food as it was absolutly delicious. John J. Sullivans had everything I can ask for, wedding planner, justice of the peace, bridal suite with double jacuzzi tubs and stand up shower; you can make overnight arrangements and they will cook you the most amazing breakfast in the morning, and sooooo much more!!! If you are looking for the best service, great, friendly atmosphere, beautiful setting, great food and all around great time, John J. Sullivan's is the place to be!!! My husband and I would like to thank all the staff for making our day unforgetable and we sincerely had the time of our lives!

Mrs. V - Thank you Sullivan's! I'm writing to share my husband's and my praise and gratitude to Sullivan's. We celebrated our wedding there on Saturday October 9, 2010. Our event coordinator offered superb service and hard work. She made our day as special and personal as we had dreamed. Every little detail and special touches I wanted to include she accommodated and even helped improve! Please know that it was an absolute pleasure working with her and we now consider her a personal friend. We enjoyed attending the bridal fair last winter and also were honored to work with Jacob Moss for our floral arrangements and Mr. Tidmarsh for our cake. They were both highly recommended but Sullivan's. Our guests have complimented on so many of the little details we were able to offer such as the personalized martinis, the outdoor cocktail hour, the delicious meals, the flowers, the cake, the decor and atmosphere and our parents and bridal party went crazy over the bridal suite and the personal service we received prior to entering the reception. I am the first of 3 daughters to get married and my parents could not have been happier. They were so proud that day and truly enjoyed themselves along with our many guests who traveled from near and far to celebrate with us. I am now considering holding my baby sister's bridal shower at Sullivan's next spring! Thank you for everything. We have since been to events at other wedding facilities but time and time again my husband and I comment on how it was an absolute pleasure and so much fun to celebrate our special day with you. John J. Sullivan's is hands down the best choice to make for your special day. I recently got married to the love of my life. We wanted an outside wedding with an inside reception. We also wanted a reasonable price, an easy to find location, top notch food, and obviously the best wedding planner Connecticut has to offer. John J. Sullivan's had it all and more. No leaf was left unturned when it came to our wants, needs, and demands. The food was spectacular, the reception setup was breath taking, and the suite was as cozy as home, if not more. I HIGHLY recommend you leave the most important day in your life in their hands. Not one person who attended our wedding will tell you otherwise. Thanks again John J. Sullivan for all your hard work.

We had an excellent experience working with John J Sullivan's for our recent wedding. Not only was Sullivans an outstanding value for the cost, but they were always very helpful in suggesting ways to keep costs down and allowing us to do things a lot of other venues would not (like request a certain type of beer to be brought in from the distributor.) Plus I would recommend Sullivans wholeheartedly to anyone.

The day I went to see the venue, John J. Sullivans, I was skeptical on having my wedding here, only because I wasn't familiar with Ansonia, CT, (I am originally from NY and have only been in CT for less than a year at the time). John J. Sullivans has a great garden and outdoor patio where our ceremony was held. The best part of the place is the Bridal Suite. It is like no other. Seeing the bridal suite was the icing on the cake for me. Go check it out for yourselves, you won't be disappointed.

I got married at John J's and I must say that the experience was first class... My wedding was beautiful and elegant and stayed within my budget. I opted to have one of the owners do my ceremony since he was J/P which was perfect.. He did a custom ceremony I had made and said it eloquently.When I saw my ceremony I was speechless. The staff there is top notch.. the food is out of this world... all I know is by the end of the night every guest had a hard belly and the drinks kept flowing...lol.. and I tell you what they were far from watered down... they even helped me chose a signature drink which was perfect and quite tasty I must say so myself... I had their vendor do my cake and it was perfect.. We had a A+ experience and would recommend to anyone.

After looking at many venues around Connecticut, I can highly recommend John J. Sullivan's. Their wedding packages are all-inclusive and quite reasonably priced, and the owners quoted very reasonable prices for food add-ons. The bridal suite is spacious and absolutely beautifully decorated, nicer than any hotel I've seen in the area.

I have to say I looked at alot of other places but this one was by far the best choice for our wedding. The first impression we got from the wedding planner was very welcoming and pleasant. I felt comfortable right away. The facility itself is very nice and clean. The outside has an nice garden for pics, as well as a covered tent (which could be closed or opened weather permitting) area for the cocktail hour. The bridal suite is huge, decorated very nicely, and has a huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub for 2. I am really excited to be having our wedding here and I have complete confidence. The package prices are super competitive and some offer the limo service which I thought was a huge bonus! Overall we have had a fantastic experience dealing with the staff. Thanks JJ Sullivans!
